Dear Kagan,
I wanted to let you know how much everyone enjoyed having you as our tour guide for our 3 days in Turkey. I can't tell you how many times people would come up to me on the ship and thank me for arranging the tours and said how wonderful you were. I spent a lot of time researching Istanbul and tour guides and when all was said and done, I knew you would be the perfect fit for our group. It made me feel good to know that my many, many hours of research and all the emails to you paid off.
Our Istanbul and Ephesus tours left us all with a new understanding and respect for a part of the world most of us hadn't visited before. The day we visited the Mosque and all sat around and talked about religions made me realize that we truly all are one people; we just come from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. The calls to prayer throughout the city were very moving and something we won't forget. I think we all left Turkey feeling like ambassadors of good will. Our final hours in Istanbul walking with you through the many shops and streets truly left us all feeling very much a part of Istanbul. We were all just acting like everyone else that day as we walked about the city. Our 3 days with you ended up so quickly. However, the memories will always remain. You will always be in our hearts. With lots of love from all of us.
